Lotto Online
UK Lotto is a 6 from 59 game that gives players the chance to win life-changing prizes twice a week on Wednesday and Saturday evenings. Following changes made to the main Lotto draw in November 2018, the starting jackpot is £2 million on a Wednesday, and a guaranteed £3.8 million on a Saturday, increasing in value with each rollover.
The jackpot can roll over a maximum five times before it has to be won in a ‘Must Be Won’ draw. If no one matches all six numbers in a ‘Must Be Won’ draw, the jackpot is rolled down and shared between winners in all other prize tiers. These changes were brought in to increase the frequency of jackpot winners and size of cash prizes.
The biggest UK Lotto jackpot on record was worth £66 million and was won by two ticket holders on Saturday 9th January 2016. Each winning ticket, one of which was claimed straight away by David and Carol Martin of the Scottish Borders, was worth £33 million. The second winning ticket was purchased in Worcester by a player who wished to remain anonymous.

UK Lotto tickets can be purchased either online or from an authorised retailer, but buying your Lotto tickets online is the most convenient and secure way to take part in the game. Your tickets will be safely stored in your online account and will be automatically checked after the draw, with any prizes due paid directly into your account so you can enjoy them as soon as you get the email notification informing you that you’ve won a prize!
All UK Lotto prizes are valid for 180 days from the date of the draw. Any prizes that are unclaimed after this point are transferred to the Good Causes Fund.

How to play UK Lotto Online
To play UK Lotto, simply select six numbers from 1 to 59 or have them generated for you via a Lucky Dip. If you match all six main numbers drawn, you will win the jackpot! In the event that two or more ticket holders match the entire winning line, the top prize will be shared equally between them. A seventh number, known as the Bonus Ball, boosts the value of rewards won in the second prize tier, where players have to match five main numbers.
